Everything a freelancer needs, from first minute to invoice
Hourwright does the whole job, without the limits other free plans add.
Never loses a minute
Keeps running if you close the tab or reload. Press S to start or stop. Forgot to track? Add the time by hand.
Every hour has a price
Set a rate per client, override it per project, and watch the amount grow while you work. Mix currencies freely.
Fair, and your choice
Round each billable entry to 6, 15 or 30 minutes, up, down or nearest. Your real tracked time never changes.
No 31-day ceiling
This week, last quarter, this year, or any custom range. Filter by client or project and see where the hours go.
CSV, PDF, summary
A spreadsheet-ready CSV, a clean printable timesheet, or a short summary to paste into your invoice email.
Timesheet links
Send a read-only link with the timesheet packed inside it. Your client can read, print or export it. Nothing is uploaded.
Calm on a desk. Handy in your pocket.

Good to know
Where is my data stored?
Only in your browser, on your device. Nothing is uploaded. Download a backup from Setup now and then, because clearing your browser data also clears Hourwright.
Can I use it on two devices?
Each browser keeps its own hour book. To move your data, download a backup on one device and restore it on the other.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Download the single file and open it by double-clicking. It works with no internet connection.
Can I share a timesheet with a client?
Yes. Copy a client link from the Report tab. The timesheet is packed inside the link itself, so nothing is stored on a server. Anyone with the link can read it, so send it only to your client.
Does it make invoices?
Not yet. It gives you exact hours and amounts, a CSV and a printable timesheet to attach to the invoice you send.
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no account, no ads and no paid plan. It runs in your browser, so it costs almost nothing to offer, and it is funded by tips.
